44 points, a career high from David West, wasn't enough to get the Hornets a road win.

The Hornets lost for the 13th time in 15 road games this season, 108-100 at Houston Tuesday night.

Chris Paul had a triple double: 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The Hornets took an 82-74 lead after three quarters thanks to a 22 point quarter from West.

But, Houston outscored New Orleans 34-18 in the final period.

Aaron Brooks led the Rockets with 27 points. The Hornets host Miami Wednesday night.
