Kids can celebrate the "Wearin' of the Green" at Creative Artistry's St. Patrick's Day Arts and Crafts Party! They will salute St. Pat by creating all sorts of cool crafts, including a clay Leprechaun, a sparkly shamrock door hanger, a hanging Leprechaun "dude", a "pot of gold" and more! When they're not creating, they will enjoy music, punch and Magical Cookies!

If you can't make it to Chicago on Saturday to watch the greening of the Chicago River, or maybe you just can't get enough of watching bodies of water turn green, then consider this fun option. The Lake Katherine Nature Center in Palos Heights dyes their waterfall green at two different times on Friday, March 16th: noon and again at 4pm.

After the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Chicago, head to Navy Pier for an exciting afternoon of Irish dance by Trinity Irish Dancers (the largest Irish dance program in the world) and live music by the Irish band, Anish. The dancers will give 3 performances, and the band will then perform two sets.
