The remains of nearly 1,800 people have been exhumed from a mass grave in Malbork, Poland. The dead are believed to be German residents of the town who were killed when the Soviet Red Army advanced toward Berlin at the end of World War II. At the time, the town was part of Germany and known as Marienburg. (Adam Warzawa / EPA)
