Record snowstorm blankets Moscow

A day and a half of snow brought more than 22 inches of the white stuff to the center of Moscow by Feb. 5. That’s the equivalent of a month’s worth of typical snowfall in 36 hours, making it the biggest accumulationl in the city since meteorological records began, Russian media reported.
