Those living at 2400 Webb Ave. in the Bronx came home to signs stating that all residents must vacate immediately.

Every single person in the 75 unit, rent-stabilized apartment complex has until 6 p.m. Tuesday to pack up and leave.

The building was under renovations and when the Housing Preservation and Development Department came out on an unrelated call, workers noticed there were no fire escapes anywhere.

The owners were hit with violations and the city made the decision to clear the building as there is no secondary way to escape in an emergency.

Residents in the seven-story complex say the owners removed the fire escapes weeks ago.
