Debuting in August 2011 is the first ever national firefighter calendar, Nation's Bravest: Firefighters Unite.

This charitable calendar brings together 12 different cities and their respective fire departments/firefighter unions, who are each actively involved. The calendar benefits twelve separate charities in Charlotte, Chicago, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, San Antonio, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis and Tampa.

Mr. New York Philip Sylvester of Brooklyn stopped by the studio to talk about being featured in the calendar. He is a New York City firefighter and member of the Uniformed Firefighters Association IAFF Local 94.

He represents the month of September to acknowledge those lost during 9/11. He chose the Wounded Warrior Project, which serves to honor and empower wounded warriors.
