THIRD ANNUAL "BEST WINGS IN BROOKLYN COMPETITION" TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25 AT RED STAR IN GREENPOINT, BK

Greenpoint's RED STAR will once again host the Third Annual "BEST WINGS IN BROOKLYN COMPETITION" in association with NY Waterway's East River Ferry, on Saturday, February 25. Dozens of Brooklyn's best purveyors "throw their wing into the ring" in pursuit of borough bragging rights, greater glory, and just a whole heck of a lot of attention. Beginning at 2:00 PM, the event is free to the public, with free wings all day long. Visitors can conveniently travel to the festivities by taking the East River Ferry, stopping in Greenpoint at India Street, only blocks from the corner of West Street and Greenpoint Avenue where the event is being held. Sponsored in part by Yelp, The Brooklyn Paper, and Brooklyn Exposed, a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Dr. Theodore Atlas Foundation's boxing program, "Atlas Cops & Kids."

The event is easily accessible from Manhattan by taking the East River Ferry at E 34th Street and getting off at the 2nd stop in Greenpoint (takes about 10 minutes). You can also take the ferry from Pier 11/Wall Street and ride it north to Greenpoint (that takes about 20 minutes).
