Halloween can be a scary night if you're watching your diet.Wellness expert Lori Kaufman says It's important to plan ahead if you want to indulge in tricks and treats without sacrificing your waistline.
She stopped by live with tips to avoid Halloween bloat without resorting to handing out raisins or pencils.
To indulge in Halloween candy in moderation, be sure that you're getting the most bang for your Halloween buck. Here are a few Tips and Calorie counts for some of your favorite candies.
Tips:1. Set a candy limit for each day and for then pick a day that you will get rid of the candy. So Halloween is on a Monday, by Wednesday, you give it away or save it for Christmas
2. Eat dinner first! Never eat candy on an empty stomach
3. Chose your candy wisely and always Sit down and actually enjoy your treat. The more you taste it and enjoy it, the less you will eat
