It's any parents worst nightmare. One minute they are there and, the next, their kids are no where to be found.
That is what happened around midnight in the Bronx. Cops tell PIX 11 that two 11-year-old boys went missing in the area of 230th Street and Broadway while their parents were talking outside their apartment building.
Police immediately canvassed the area for the two boys who are friends, expanding their search throughout the Riverdale section of the Bronx.
Cops searched by land and air throughout Van Cortlandt Park up on 242nd Street but found nothing.
Cops say the parents of both boys are cooperating and just want their boys found.
Police have not released images of the two boys at this time.Copyright © 2014, Los Angeles Times
