According to the NYPD, a second suspect has been nabbed for the recent series of Brooklyn sex attacks.

32 year old Joshua Flecha was picked up by cops who found his behavior suspicious as he loitered near parked cars.  Upon closer insoection, an officer noticed that Flecha looked like one of the attack suspect sketches.  The prep had a cell phone in his hand with a porn video playing and his pants were unzipped.  Police also say his pants were unzipped.  He also had maijuana on him.

Flecha was arrested for possession of marijuana, and was later picked out of a lineup at Brooklyn Special Victims as the perpatrator in an incident on May 7th, when a man matching Flecha’s description approached a woman as she swiped her Metro card at the 8th Avenue entrance to the F line 7th Avenue  and 9th Street subway station.  The perp grabbed her breasts, exposed himself and masturbated.

Police tell us that additional lineups in connection with other incidents in the pattern are  being conducted today.

Another  man, Adolfo Martinez, was arrested October 11 and charged with forcible touching and sexual abuse 3rd degree stemming from an incident October 10th on 39th Street  between 4th and 5th Avenues where he approached a woman and grabbed  her buttocks from behind and then ran away. Martinez has admitted to similar acts but claimed he could not recall where they had occurred.

Women had been living in fear as police were seemingly powerless to stop the perpetrator or perpetrators behind a string of sex attacks that has now reached twenty, police said Friday. Six past incidents were reviewed and have now been added to the list, along with a new attack that took place Thursday night.

The latest attack took place in Windsor Terrace when a woman was attacked while walking her dog.

According to authorities, the attack happened while the woman, described to be in her 20s, was walking near Sixth Avenue and 17th Street with her German Shepherd mix at about 10 p.m.

Police say the knife-wielding suspect jumped at her and grabbed her from behind. The man fled the scene after the woman let out a loud scream. Police are still investigating whether the attack is part of the ongoing pattern of attacks happening in the area. If it's determined to be linked to the series of attacks, it would be the 14th incident in recent weeks. Clothes, which apparently belonged to the suspect, were discovered near the scene.

Police also released six other transit attacks that they now believe may be related, and suspect three different men are carrying out the attacks.

Early on March 11 at the 7th Ave. subway station (F train) a Hispanic man 22-25 years-old approached a 30-year-old woman from behind, placed his hand under her T-shirt and touched her breast before running out of the station.
