Police now have surveillance video of the man, they say, got into a verbal argument on a Brooklyn train that ended in the death of a young Queens man.

The victim has been identified as Joshua Basin, 20, of Howard Beach. He was a junior at LaGuardia Community College, and reportedly took acting lessons on the side.

Investigators say there were hundreds of eyewitnesses to the fight Friday night around 10 o'clock on the L line. According to police, Basin and the suspect -- who witnesses say was drunk -- began arguing on the train. The argument spilled out onto the platform at the Bedford Avenue station in Williamsburg, where it escalated, the pair falling on the tracks.

Police say the other man -- described as a white male in his early '30's -- managed to pull himself back onto the platform and fled the scene; Basin was not so lucky; he was hit by an oncoming train. Basin was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he died.

According to a report in the Daily News, Basin was on his way to his girlfriend's house on Long Island.

Detectives closed the station for several hours in order to gather evidence.

The case is being investigated as a homicide.

Meanwhile, Zena Basin says she just wants justice for her only child. She described him as a "happy-go-lucky," young man, who was well-known in Howard Beach and Ozone Park. Mrs. Basin described Joshua as her "miracle child," explaining his twin died at birth, and he wasn't expected to live either. She says she has one, simple request of the suspect: "Turn yourself in."
