Sandy Unearths 90-Year-Old Ship Wreck On Fire Island

When Superstorm Sandy devastated Fire Island, flooding nearly 80 percent of the community's homes, it also unearthed a nearly 100-year-old ship wreck.

The ship, believed to be the Bessie White, was left exposed after high winds and torrential rain hammered the popular vacation spot located at the south shore of Long Island.
