Cops Searching For Driver Who Mowed Down 2 Boys In Brooklyn

Police are searching for a driver who mowed down two boys riding a bicycle in Brooklyn Tuesday night.

According to authorities, the two 12-year-old boys were riding along East 4th Street and Avenue S at about 10 p.m. in the Gravesend section when they were run down.

Police say the victims were riding on the same bike, with one peddling and the other riding on pegs.

The driver quickly fled the scene after the collision. Responding emergency personnel transported the victims to Lutheran Hospital where one suffered a cerebral hemorrhage while the other suffered extensive leg injuries.

The boys are listed in critical and stable condition respectively,
