Straphangers can expect near normal service on the rails and subways Wednesday.

Most subway service has been restored. The No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 trains as well as the A, C, E, D, F, M, G, J, Z and R trains are all running normally. The Staten Island Railroad is also reporting good service.

But there are continued delays and service outages on B, L, N, Q and Franklin Ave Shuttle as crews continue to work Wednesday to clear snow from tracks and signals.

According to the MTA, the L is running both directions from 8th Avenue to Broadway Junction. At Broadway Junction, passengers will have to transfer to a shuttle train, which will continue the rest of the L's route to Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway.

But the B train remains suspended both directions from the Bedford Park Boulevard and the Brighton Beach.

There is no N train service between the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue and the Whitehall Street in both directions. The Q train is also suspended from Astoria-Ditmars Boulevard to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue in both directions.

The Franklin Avenue Shuttle also remains suspended in both directions from Franklin Avenue to Prospect Park.

Bus service in all boroughs remain severely affected due to road conditions, especially in Southern Brooklyn, Staten Island and Queens. Limited service is suspended and some bus routes have been shortened due to street conditions.

The Long Island Rail Road expects to have near normal service. But a shuttle bus service will be provided in place of train service east of Ronkonkoma on the main line and east of Speonk on the Montauk Branch.

The Metro-North is also back on a regular weekday schedule on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines. But some morning peak in-bound trains are being cancelled or combined due to holiday scheduling.

New Jersey Transit also resumes normal service on most lines. There are still some minor adjustments and cancellations due to either weather or holiday scheduling.
