Doors open at 7:30pm, film begins at sunset, weather permitting. Space is limited. Join Intrepid in celebrating some of our favorite heroes from the movies with our 3rd annual Intrepid Summer Movie Series. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets. Guests are encouraged to bring their own food, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, however no outside alcohol is permitted.

R&B singer Charlie Wilson, aka Uncle Charlie, is a Tulsa, Oklahoma native and the former lead singer of the funkadelic brotherly trio, the GAP Band. Wilson recently released the album Just Charlie on Jive Records.

R&B and soul singer Eric Benet is best known for his duet with Tamia, "Spend My Life With You," which was a number one song for three weeks on the US Billboard R&B chart and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2000.

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Concert Series presents free musical concerts that reflect the African-American contribution to our cultural heritage. During the summer, usually in July and August, seven concerts are staged (weather permitting) at Brooklyn's Wingate Field. The series began in 1982.
