Harrisburg Cabbie Fights Back

A Harrisburg cab driver was taking a fare from Uptown to Hall Manor Saturday night around midnight when things went awry.

When they reached the destination, the fare, described as a thin black male wearing black clothing, got out of the cab and pointed a sawed-off sho0tgun at the driver and demanded money.

The cabbie grabbed the barrel of the gun in an effort to protect himself. The robber pulled the trigger, but the cabbie maintained his grasp on the barrel and continued to fight back.He suffered a minor hand injury in the struggle.

The robber fled after the stock of the shotgun broke. He left the shotgun and fled the scene. A cab window was busted during the altercation.
