McCormick Recalls Fajita Seasoning Mix

Giant and Martin's are alerting consumers of a voluntary recall by McCormick & Company. The recall by McCormick & Company is causing stores to pull the fajita seasoning mix from store shelves.

GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN'S Food Markets announced it has removed McCormick Fajitas Seasoning Mix from their sales, because of an un-named allergen contained in the seasoning.

The seasoning contains wheat and milk ingredients that are not listed on the label. People who have allergies to wheat or milk could have serious or life threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product.

The following product was removed from sale:

  • McCormick Fajitas Seasoning Mix 1.12 oz, UPC 5210002121 and "Best By" dates of JAN 16 12 AH and JAN 126 12 CH.

McCormick & Company has not received any reports of illness from consumption of this product. Customers who have purchased the affected products should throw them away immediately and bring their purchase receipt to the store for a full refund.
