Two York County Man Jailed on Multiple Sexual Assault Charges

Two York County men are behind bars facing multiple charges of sexual assault involving children. 63 year old Edward Earl Campbell, of Dover Township faces sexual charges in both York and Cumberland Counties. Northern York County Regional Police say that Campbell sexually assulted three girls for ten years beginning in 2000 and ending in Christmas 2010. The girls ages ranged from 3 to 13 years old according to police. He also is accused of taking nude photos of the girls in sexually suggestive positions. Campbell alledgedly threaten to harm the girls if they told their parents. Charges against Campbell include involuntary sexual intercourse, two counts each of Aggravated Indecent Assault, Indecent Assault, Sexual Abuse of Children and Intimidating a Witness. Campbell faces similar charges in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County where Campbell lived for part of the time in which the alleged assaults occurred. Campbell is in York County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Police also arrested 28 year old Sean Wilson, of Spring Garden Township on Tuesday. Charges against Wilson include two counts of Forcible Compulsion, two counts of Rape of a Child and two counts of Aggravated Indecent Assault of a Child. Wilson is being held in York County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
