Seven soldiers returned to Lebanon County after an 11 month deployment to Kuwait.

The Army National Guard members from the 213 Personnel Company arrived at Fort Indiantown Gap in Annville Thursday morning.

The soldiers were in Kuwait, providing human resources services for troops moving in and out of the Middle East.

It was an emotional reunion for the soldiers and their families.

Soldier Karen Schwanger says she is happy to be back home with her husband.

"For us, the hardest part, was being away from home," said Karen Schwanger.

Suipi Gordon says she's proud of her oldest son, Scott, and she's looking forward to spending time with him.

"I'm excited because he made it home. There are many of them they don't come. Just for him to come home, that's more than a blessing," she said.
