Ten Pennsylvania Army National Guard soldiers returned to Fort Indiantown Gap in Lebanon County after a yearlong deployment to Kuwait and Iraq.
The soldiers were overseas providing human resources services to troops transitioning in and out of the Middle East.
Families and soldiers say they are happy to be together for the holidays. They say it has been difficult without their loved ones.
"It's hard. It's just hard. I mean, I have to worry about him and worry about the kids. Time actually went pretty quick because I was very busy being both parents, but it's just great to have him home," said Toni Piersol.
Soldiers say they are looking forward to some down time with their families.
