Carnival midways, the stomach-churning Gravitron, impossible skee-ball, a roller coaster dubiously called the "Zyklon," and, yes, funnel cakes are all staples of the Broward County Fair, returning for its 37th edition, but we'll first be checking out the Hoodoo Blue Blues Band. And then we'll throw up, because you don't mix Guinness, deep-fried dough and negative-g forces. The fair opens 4 p.m.-midnight next to Pembroke Pines City Center, 10100 Pines Blvd., and continues through Nov. 25. $33-40 for admission and wristbands, 954-922-2224 or BrowardFair.org.
