Larios on the Beach, Gloria and Emilio Estefan’s South Beach Cuban restaurant, is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Larios (820 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach, 305-532-9577, LariosOnTheBeach.com) is marking the occasion by offering a $19.92 prix fixe menu through November that features several of the restaurant’s traditional Cuban dishes. Of course, it includes a mojito.
Here’s the menu:
Appetizer: Cuban Trio Sampler of papa rellena, ham croquette and crispy pork chunks or Tostones Rellenos Duo, two stuffed plantain cups served with Cuban Creole minced beef and criolla shrimp.
Entree: Traditional Cuban-style roasted pork or shrimp sauteed in Cuban criolla sauce.
Dessert: Natilla, Cuban-style vanilla pudding or arroz con leche, traditional Cuban-style rice pudding.
Larios is serving the special menu 11:30 a.m. - 11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday.
The Estefans also own Bongos Cuban Café restaurants in Orlando, downtown Miami and Hollywood.Copyright © 2014, Los Angeles Times
