A Litchfield car wash owner will be cleaning for a cause this Memorial Day weekend. He's gathering goods to send to our troops and doing a few good deeds for our servicemen and women here at home. "We know everyone knows a soldier overseas, they're over there protecting our freedom and I'd like to say thank you," said Patrick Muscillo, the owner of the Litchfield Car Wash.

Officially, it's called "Treats for Troops", all week Muscillo will be taking donations and food items to make care packages to send to military men and women in Iraq. Here in Connecticut, five of his car wash locations are adding sparkle to any serviceman or Vet with I.D. Muscillo said, "in exchange we're giving free oil changes and car washes to all our military and anyone who caries an American Flag, patriotic anything, we're going to give them 50 percent off a car wash and 10 percent off an oil change." The objective is to send 100 boxes overseas, "boxes filled with goodies, cookies, snacks, music cd's, and letters of appreciation," said Muscillo. "I'm here for my local people," he added.
