INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis Colts center Jeff Saturday could miss a month or more with a strained calf muscle.
Colts president Bill Polian made the announcement during his radio show on Monday night, according to an Indianapolis Star article.
Saturday was injured in the first quarter of the Colts' 23-20 win at San Diego on Sunday night. Polian said "a conservative estimate" would have the three-time Pro Bowl player missing between three and four weeks.
Rookie Jamey Richard filled in for Saturday against San Diego. The seventh-round draft pick started the first two games of the season while Saturday was out with ligament damage in his right knee.
