For once, the NBA did the Pacers a favor. Not only did Indiana finish the regular season with four consecutive home games, but they they had the final night of the regular season off. Orlando, meanwhile had a game in Memphis Thursday, then traveled to Indianapolis for their first round playoff series against the Pacers.

The Grizzlies beat the Magic 88-76 in a game that meant much more to Memphis than it did Orlando. While the Magic were playing and traveling, the Pacers were inside the friendly confines of Bankers Life Fieldhouse preparing for their first-round opponent.

"They're a dangerous basketball team. They can spread you out, shoot a lot of three's, make a lot of three's, a team full of guys that kind of know the game and are very smart. We've got our hands full. We've got to be very precise on how we want to guard them, and how we want to limit them," said David West.

Late Thursday night, the NBA released the schedule for the series, which starts Saturday night with a 7:00 PM tip-off at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
