A new president officially takes the reigns at Butler University. Jim Danko is the school's 21st president. His inauguration was held Saturday on campus.
Danko is a former businessman. He founded one of the largest medical equipment companies in the midwest, before turning his attention to academics. Danko wants to focus on Butler's contributions to the future with a $5 million innovation fund.
"I will do everything in my power to honor the hard work and dedication of the generations that came before us, and to help Butler achieve even higher levels of excellence for many generations to come," says Danko.
