Body found in wooded area in Zionsville


The Zionsville Police Department is investigating after a body was discovered in a wooded area in Zionsville, Ind. early Wednesday morning.

Police Chief Robert Knox said the body was located in the area south of Sycamore Street and east of Eagle Creek.

An autopsy is underway at the Boone County Coroner’s Office.

According to the Zionsville Times Sentinel, police have been searching for a missing 33-year-old who was last seen on Thursday, June 14. 

The newspaper reported Chief Knox said officers used bloodhounds to search for Todd Terew in the Eagle Creek area on Monday and were going to continue that search Wednesday.
