HSE student says he was threatened with urine on school bus

Fishers police said they have closed their investigation into a hazing incident on a high school football bus.

A Hamilton Southeastern High School student told his father that upperclassmen tormented him with a bottle of urine on a district school bus following last Friday night's game in Brownsburg.

The Royals lost that game and some of the younger players were criticizing the starters. Fishers police said that while some players were teased and threatened, no one was actually assaulted.

Coach Scott May is suspended for this weekend's game for lack of supervision during the bus ride home. Two students will reportedly face team-related sanctions.

Superintendent Dr. Brian Smith also announced that two assistant coaches and two athletic directors would receive verbal and written reprimands regarding the incident.
