A new executive director for the Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) has been selected.
The IAA’s former interim executive director, Robert Duncan, will be the new executive director.
"After completing a thorough assessment of candidates, our search committee has concluded that the Indianapolis Airport Authority will be best served by Bob's continued leadership and his extensive experience," said Michael W. Wells, president of the IAA board.
Duncan has filled previous roles such as general counsel and chief operating officer for the IAA. He was involved with planning for the Indianapolis International Airport’s award-winning new Midfield Terminal and other land and economic development initiatives.
"He has demonstrated expertise in virtually all areas of airport operations and strategic development in prior positions with the IAA, and he has provided sound leadership in his most recent position as airport director," said Wells.Copyright © 2014, Los Angeles Times
