Report: Tony George reinstated to IMS board

Robin Miller with SPEED.com is reporting Tony George has been reinstated to the board of Hulman & Company, which funds and administers the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, IZOD IndyCar Series and Clabber Girl Baking Powder. Miller is also a racing analyst for Fox59.

The article says it believes Mari Hulman George made the call to bring her son back into the family business. Tony George had served as CEO of Hulman & Co. and the Speedway before resigning both positions in June 2009.
