Wabash College football player dies during surgery

Sophomore Josh Linthicum died of heart failure while having hip surgery at a Cincinnati hospital.

The 19 year-old played in four games on the team's offensive line this season and worked in the training room.

Linthicum was a history major with hopes of going to law school.

Wabash President Patrick White called Linthicum a likable guy who was full of spirit, with a zest for life.
