Jason Statham has been wreaking havoc on this side of the pond recently; now he's looking to head back overseas.
Statham, who starred in "Crank: High Voltage" and "Death Race," is in talks to head London-based thriller "Blitz," according to Variety.

Statham would play Sergeant Brant in the adaptation of Ken Bruen's 2004 novel, which follows a hammer-wielding cop killer and the police trying to catch him. It'll be interesting to see whether the movie also tries to touch on Bruen's examinations of racism and homophobia.
If Statham signs the deal, filming will begin Aug. 10 in London.
The action star will also co-star in Sylvester Stallone's ensemble "The Expendables." That picture hits theaters April 23, 2010.
