CBS put the bite on "Moonlight," but its star isn't done working for The Eye.
Sources say Alex O'Loughlin, who played good-guy vampire Mick St. John on the network's cancelled series "Moonlight," is in line to play the lead opposite Jennifer Lopez in CBS Films' romantic comedy "The Back-Up Plan."
The movie follows Lopez, who turns to artificial insemination after a life spent unlucky in love. She meets her dream man (O'Loughlin) soon after, which complicates her decision. Shooting begins May 11 for, presumably, a 2010 release.
O'Loughlin, 33, stars later this year in the Antarctica-based murder mystery "Whiteout."Copyright © 2014, Los Angeles Times
