On the eve of "Alias'" return to ABC for its final episodes, ABC has added the series to its list of shows available on iTunes.
Episodes from the show's past two seasons are now available on the service, for the standard price of $1.99 apiece. The truly dedicated can buy the entire fourth season, which was heavy on the Rambaldi mumbo-jumbo and the Syd-Vaughn romance, for $34.99.
The availability of "Alias" on iTunes comes a day before the show returns to ABC following a four-month hiatus, brought on largely by star Jennifer Garner's pregnancy (she gave birth in December). Its final string of episodes will kick off with a two-hour affair at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday.
In the show, Sydney Bristow (Garner) will give birth to her child with the presumed-dead-but-probably-not-really-dead Vaughn (Michael Vartan). ABC has also promised the return of several past cast members, including Lena Olin as Sydney's mom and Bradley Cooper as her friend Will and Gina Torres as spy nemesis Anna Espinosa.
As is the case with ABC's other iTunes offerings, new episodes of "Alias" will be available for download the day after they first air.Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
