What's in a name? Angelina Jolie, whose last name means "pretty" or "beautiful" in French, has been named most beautiful by People.
The mother-to-be graces the cover of the magazine's "100 Most Beautiful People" issue, on newsstands Friday, April 28.
Although Jolie, 30, glams it up for Hollywood, many point out that she looks just as good with minimal enhancement. "She looks the most beautiful when she's in the field - natural, no makeup, nothing," says musician Wyclef Jean.
It's the fourth time she's made the list and a double honor because she's also been named as a member of the "Most Beautiful Family," which includes actor Brad Pitt, adopted son Maddox, adopted daughter Zahara and the most genetically blessed fetus there is.
Others on the list include: "Fantastic Four" star Jessica Alba, who's anything but invisible; sexy "Grey's Anatomy" doctor Isaiah Washington; "Desperate Housewives" adulteress and "The Sentinel" sharp-shooter Eva Longoria; singer James Blunt, whose falsetto rendition of "You're Beautiful" is the bane of unromantic men; "Dreamgirls" star Beyonce; Richie Sambora's ex-wife and Denise Richards' ex-friend Heather Locklear; "Hustle & Flow's" star pimp Terrence Howard; female Indy racer Danica Patrick; non-Japanese "Memoirs of a Geisha" star Ziyi Zhang; sk8r grl Avril Lavigne; the latest big screen Superman Brandon Routh; "The O.C.'s" eternal Summer, Rachel Bilson; and "Lost's" Naveen Andrews; and all 26 spokesmodels of NBC's "Deal or No Deal."
Jolie's upcoming films include Robert DeNiro's "The Good Shepherd" and a retelling of the Old English epic poem "Beowulf." But before those hit theaters, her next project in the next month or so is having her baby with Pitt.Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
