Anna Nicole Smith has received a rather unwelcome early Christmas present.
The boxom blonde has been ordered by a Los Angeles judge to submit her 3-month-old daughter to a paternity test, reports People.
Even before baby DannieLynn Hope was born, there's been controversy about who her real father is. Smith's ex-boyfriend, photographer Larry Birkhead, claims he's the dad and even filed a lawsuit to settle the matter. Smith, on the other hand, claims that her longtime lawyer and boyfriend Howard K. Stern is the father.
"If I was on anybody's Christmas list, they can scratch me off because this is the best Christmas present I could have ever received," says Birkhead. "I'm one step closer to beginning a relationship with my daughter."
The former Playboy Playmate has been in the Bahamas since the birth of her daughter, on Sept. 7, the sudden death of her son Daniel three days later and then the shipboard commitment ceremony she had with Stern, who publicly claimed the child as his on "Larry King Live."
The whereabouts of Smith, 39, and Stern, 38, are currently unknown, although they made an appearance in the U.S. recently for Smith to collect an inheritance from her late husband, J. Howard Marshall II.
