Anne Heche, 'Men in Trees' Co-star Expecting Baby

Anne Heche's time on "Men in Trees" may have been brief, but she's gotten something longer lasting from her time there.

The actress and her boyfriend, her "Men in Trees" co-star James Tupper, are expecting their first child together, reports

"They are thrilled," says her rep. There's no word on how far along the pregnancy is.

Heche, 39, first met Tupper, 43, on the set of her short-lived ABC series "Men in Trees" while she was still married to Coleman Laffoon, with whom she has a 6-year-old son, Homer. Heche is still in an ongoing legal battle over spousal support and child support to finalize her divorce.

Heche also once famously dated comedian Ellen DeGeneres for several years.

On "Men in Trees," Heche played Marin Frist, a relationship coach, author and radio host who moves to quirky Elmo, Alaska, where she meets Jack Slattery (Tupper) a local biologist and her love interest.

Tupper has appeared in a recurring role on "Samantha Who?" as Owen. Heche will be appearing with him on an upcoming episode this season.
