The 1970s were widely considered the golden age of TV spinoffs, with shows like "All in the Family," "Mary Tyler Moore" and "Happy Days" spawning multiple series over the course of their long runs. The past 20-plus years, though, have been fertile ground for spinoffs too. Starting with "The Simpsons" -- arguably the gold standard for all TV spinoffs -- there have been several dozen spinoffs that made it the airwaves, from the good ("Frasier," "Angel") to the bad ("Time of Your Life") to the "Saved by the Bell: The College Years."
