Leslie Bibb has landed a supporting role in Marvel's "Iron Man" feature and the lead in the Regency comedy "The Bachelorette Party."
In "Iron Man," set to star Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard and Gwyneth Paltrow, Bibb will play a fast-talking reporter, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The trade paper opts not to give the character a name, suggesting that the part in the Jon Favreau-directed comic book adaptation may be a small one.
Bibb will have a bigger role in "The Bachelorette Party," which is described as a romantic comedy in the "Wedding Crashers" vein, from writer Matt Olson.
Best known for her TV work on "Popular" and "Crossing Jordan," as well as for a main role in last summer's hit comedy "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby," Bibb is on a bit of a professional roll. In addition to a recently booked role in the feature "Midnight Meat Train" and an upcoming guest appearance on HBO's "Entourage," Bibb will also star in CBS' single-camera comedy pilot "Atlanta," opposite Freddie Prinze Jr.
