'Gilmore' Girl Gets 'Ticket to Ride'

Viewers will finally get a chance to see what happened to Rory Gilmore after college.

Well, not exactly.

Alexis Bledel has signed on for the lead in "Ticket to Ride," a post-college comedy from Fox Atomic.

Vicky Jenson, one of the directors on "Shrek" and "Shark Tale," will make her live action debut on the project, working from a script by Kelly Fremon.

"Ticket to Ride" focuses on a young woman who has to move back home after college, dealing with her wacky family and trying to figure out her next step in life.

Bledel is best known for her seven season run on The WB and The CW's "Gilmore Girls." On the big screen, she has appeared in "Sin City," "Bride and Prejudice," plus "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and its upcoming sequel.
