Oscar winner Adrien Brody and freshly crowned nominee Rinko Kikuchi are set to join fellow Oscar laureate Rachel Weisz in the conman drama "The Brothers Bloom."
The Endgame Entertainment production represents writer-director Rian Johnson's follow-up to the critically acclaimed "Brick."
Brody will play one of the film's titular brothers, a pair of grifters targeting a mysterious woman (Weisz). According to the industry trades, Kikuchi will play an equally mysterious accomplice to the brothers.
"The Brothers Bloom" will be Kikuchi's follow-up to her Oscar nominated break-out turn in "Babel."
Brody, Oscar decorated for "The Pianist," was most recently seen in "Hollywoodland" and has completed upcoming turns in "The Darjeeling Limited" and "Manolete."Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
