Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg's prolific Katalyst Films shingle has signed a far-reaching deal with the CBS Corp.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Katalyst pact is a two-year deal covering all four of the mega-corporation's TV divisions.
To begin with, CBS Paramount Network TV will be home to all of Katalyst's upcoming scripted development.
From there, CBS and The CW will have first dibs at any and all reality/unscripted projects from Katalyst.
Finally, the shingle will make the move into first-run syndication with CBS Television Distribution.
That could make for a lot of new offerings from the daring mind of Ashton Kutcher.
Katalyst was previously under contract at 20th Century Fox TV, where they developed The CW's "Beauty and the Geek," as well as ABC's midseason comedy "Miss/Guided," starring Judy Greer.
Other credits for Katalyst include "Punk'd," "The Real Wedding Crashers" and the potential CBS reality offering "Game Show in My Head."Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
