CBS thinks Marissa Jaret Winokur is "Fugly" and that Madchen Amick will make a good female lead for "Viva Laughlin!"

According to The Hollywood Reporter, both actresses has snagged parts in CBS pilots.

"Fugly" comes from "My Name Is Earl" creator Greg Garcia and focuses on a group of siblings -- twin girls and their brother -- who pool their resources to get one girl plastic surgery before heading to Hollywood to cash in on her looks. Poor Winokur will play the sister who doesn't undergo surgery.

A Tony winner for "Hairspray," Winokur was one of the stars of FOX's "Stacked."

In "Viva Laughlin!," based on the BBC's "Viva Blackpool!," Amick will play the wife of a man poised to open a casino in Laughlin, Nevada. The pilot, which features musical numbers, will be directed by Gabriele Muccino ("The Pursuit of Happyness") and executive produced by Hugh Jackman, who will guest star.

Amick was most recently seen on NBC's "Kidnapped" and in recurring roles on ABC's "Freddie" and "Jake in Progress." She's probably still best known for her run as Shelly Johnson on "Twin Peaks."

In other CBS casting news, Mexican actress Martha Higareda will appear in the drama "Skip Chaser," while Valerie Azlynn ("Joe Schmo 2," "How I Met Your Mother") will play one of the quirky neighbors in the comedy "The Captain."
