Charlie Sheen is hoping the third time will be the charm.
The star of CBS' "Two and a Half Men" and fiancee Brooke Mueller were married Friday in a small ceremony in Los Angeles, according to numerous news reports. It's the third marriage for Sheen, 42, and the first for the 30-year-old Mueller, a real estate investor.
Among those in attendance were Martin Sheen, Charlie's father, brother Emilio Estevez and Eric Dane ("Grey's Anatomy") and Rebecca Gayheart, who introduced the couple two years ago. About 60 guests attended the ceremony at a private home, including Sheen's two daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards.
Richards and Sheen were married for 4 1/2 years before going through an acrimonious divorce in 2006. Sheen was also married to Donna Peele for about year in the mid-1990s.
The couple is expected to attend Saturday's Chrysalis Butterfly Ball, a benefit for an organization that helps homeless and economically disadvantaged people find work. They made their first public appearance together at the ball two years ago.Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
