The Directors Guild of America announced the nominees for its 2008 awards Friday, and the list reads something like the roster of a lot of other TV awards in the past year.

That means multiple nominations for "Mad Men" and " 30 Rock," nods to " John Adams" and "Recount" and another nomination for " The Office." ("Mad Men" and director Alan Taylor, who is nominated again this year, won the honor for TV drama series in 2008.)

The DGA Awards, which will be handed out Jan. 31, also include a pair of nominations for helmer Paris Barclay (for episodes of "In Treatment" and "Weeds") and nods for the "Lost" episode "The Constant" and "Transitions" from the final season of " The Wire."
