'Baseball: The Tenth Inning'

Rarely does an existing documentary get an update, but genre titan Ken Burns has done that - in collaboration with filmmaking partner Lynn Novick - by adding an additional chapter to his ode to the sport.

Hitting video the week after its television debut on PBS, it covers relevant events that have transpired from the 1990s to now, one of the most notable being the breaking of the alleged Boston Red Sox curse that enabled the team to become World Series champions. Joe Torre, Bud Selig, Bob Costas and Keith Olbermann are among those who offer comments. DVD extras: deleted scenes; additional interviews. *** (Not rated: P) (Also on Blu-ray)
