'Fright Night'

In the remake of the '80s horror tale, a youth (Anton Yelchin) believes his neighbor (Colin Farrell) is a vampire. Naturally, hardly anyone else is willing to buy into that, including the teen's mother (Toni Collette).

A friend (Christopher Mintz-Plasse, "Superbad") and a would-be magician (David Tennant) agree to help determine the truth, at considerable peril to themselves. Chris Sarandon, a star of the original film, also appears in the update written by "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" alum Marti Noxon. DVD extras: outtakes; music video. *** (R and unrated versions: AS, P, V) (Also on Blu-ray and Movies on Demand)
