Emily Giffin's best-seller becomes a moderately entertaining film, thanks largely to the performances of Ginnifer Goodwin ("Big Love") and John Krasinski ("The Office").
Goodwin is the story's center as a lawyer who regrets having not acted earlier on her feelings for a law-school classmate (Colin Egglesfield), now engaged to her flashier best friend (Kate Hudson). The always enjoyable Krasinski plays the pal the attorney confides in as she debates what to do before the wedding happens. Hilary Swank is among the producers of the movie, which also features "L.A. Law"" alumna Jill Eikenberry. *** (PG-13: AS, P) (Also on Blu-ray and Movies on Demand)Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
