What we said then: "Dark, polished and just the right amount of soapy, "Revenge" promises something that many returning series doesn't even offer: years' worth of storytelling possibilities. The characters and betrayals presented in the first episode alone could keep "Revenge" vital for seasons to come and viewers equally invested ." What we say now: We were totally right. "Revenge" has turned ABC's Wednesday night into must-see-TV. Emily VanCamp's character borders on psychotic, but we still find her compelling and, yes, even sympathetic. The show has only improved, with new foils Tyler (Ashton Holmes) and the real Emily Thorne (Margarita Levieva) raising the stakes significantly. Still, since the pilot, Nolan (Gabriel Mann) has emerged as our unexpected favorite. He's in way over his head, and we love it. -- Carina Adly MacKenzie, Zap2it
