'Nacho' Star's Chip off the Old Block

Jack Black, who cooks for orphans in his latest comedy "Nacho Libre," has his own baby to feed now.

The actor and his wife Tanya Haden welcomed a baby boy into their family on Saturday, June 10, report news sources. Neither the baby's name nor other details have been released. It's the first child for both parents.

If it seems that Black is yet another celebrity procreating lately, well, it's true. The most recent Hollywood births include Matt Damon's daughter Isabella, Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky's baby boy, Woody Harrelson's third daughter Makani Ravello and of course, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter Shiloh. Many buns are also in the oven, including the gestating offspring of Britney Spears, Anna Nicole Smith, Jason Bateman and allegedly Tobey Maguire.

"A lot of celebrity daddies all of the sudden," observes Black at a recent junket to promote "Nacho," "and I just want to say I called it first and everybody else just got busy. But I called it like two years ago: 'I wanna have a kid.' And then everybody else was like, 'What? Jack's having a kid?' And I'm pretty pissed."

Black, 36, and Haden, 34, knew each other in high school but didn't date until 2005. They eloped in March.

"Nacho Libre," in which Black plays a Lucha Libre wrestler who raises money for an orphanage, leaps into theaters nationwide on Friday, June 16. In September, he begins filming Michel Gondry's "Be Kind, Rewind," about a man whose magnetic brain erases videotapes.
